क्षीणे वा नीचगे चन्द्रे षष्ठाष्टव्ययराशिगे । आत्मसौख्यं मनस्तापः कार्यविघ्नं महद्भयम् ।।28।। पितृमातृवियोगं च देहजाड्यं मनोव्यथाम् । व्यवसायात्फलं नेष्टं पशुनाशं च यच्छति ।।29।। यदि चन्द्रमा क्षीण, नीचगत, 6.8.12 भावगत हो तो अपने निजी सुख व आराम में कमी, तज्जन्य मनस्ताप, कार्य में विघ्न, महान् भय, माता-पिता का वियोग, देह में शिथिलता, मन में व्यथा, व्यवसाय में कम लाम, पशु नाश होता है।
