The Sage said to Maitreya — O Brahmin ! The effects of Antardasas in the Kalachakra Dasa which have been described above are based on Savya chakra. The effects of Antardasas in the Dasas of rasis in Apsavya chakra have to be assessed after taking into account the benefic and malefic natures of the lords of the rasis. People have to enjoy the good or suffer the bad results according to their good or bad actions in the previous births. Every body suffers or enjoys accordingly. The peculiarity in this respect is that inauspicious results have been ascribed to malefics. But if during the Antardasa if the planet concerned be a friend of the lord of the Dasa, the results of the Antardasa will be favourable. If the planet concerned be a benefic but an enemy of the lord of the Dasa, his Antardasa effects will not prove favourable. This is how the Antardasa effects have to be analysed and conclusions arrived at.

सुहृदोऽन्तर्दशाभव्या पापस्यापि द्विजोत्तम । शुभस्यापि रिपोश्चैव शुभा च प्रकीर्तिता ।। 58 ।। मित्र ग्रह की राशि की अन्तर्दशा पापराशि होने पर भी उत्तम और शत्रु ग्रह की अन्तर्दशा शुभ होने पर भी अशुभ फल देती है । वास्तव में पूर्व जन्म में किए गए पुण्यों व पापों का फल को निश्चय से भोगना पड़ता है । दशाफल केवल उन्हीं शुभाशुभ कर्म फलों का संकेत मात्र करते हैं ।
