According to prescribed remedial measures, 3 cows are to be given in charity in the case of Jyestha Moola and Ashlesha Makha gandantas, 2 cows in Revti Ashwini gandantas and 1 cow in other gandantas or in any inauspicious Yoga. If cow or cows are not available, their actual value should be given in cash to a Brahmin.
