पद्मासनः पदमहस्तः पद्मपत्रसमद्युतिः । सप्तारवरथसंस्थश्च द्विभुजश्च दिवाकरः ।। ६ ।। ध्यानार्थं या मूर्ति निर्माणार्थं सूर्य को कमलासन में स्थित, हाथ में कमल का पुष्प, कमल के समान कान्ति वाले, सात घोड़ों के रथ पर सवार, दो हाथों वाला समझें।
