VENUS MAHĀDAŚĀ — FAVOURABLE: Should Venus be in his sign of exaltation, in his own sign or in kendra or trikoṇa, there will be during his Daśā acquisition of fancy clothes, ornaments, conveyances, cattle and land etc., availability of sweet preparations every day, recognition from the sovereign, luxurious functions of songs and dances etc. by the benevolence of Goddess Lakṣmī. If Venus be in his Mūlatrikoṇa, during his Daśā there will definitely be acquisition of kingdom (attainment of a high position in Government), acquisition of a house, birth of children and grandchildren, celebration of marriage in the family, attainment of a high position like the commander of an army, visits of friends, recovery of lost wealth, property or kingdom (reinstatement in a high position).

यदि शुक्र परमोच्च, स्वोच्च, स्वक्षेत्री, केन्द्रगत हो तो राज्याभिषेक, वाहन-वस्त्रादि की प्राप्ति, हाथी-घोड़े जैसे कीमती पशुओं की प्राप्ति, सदैव मधुर भोजन का लाभ, समस्त प्रदेश का आधिपत्य, राज-सम्मान, वैभव, विभिन्न संगीतादि वाद्यों से स्वागत के अवसर, घर में लक्ष्मी जी की कृपा होती है । 5.9 में स्वक्षेत्री आदि हो तो राज्य, धन, घर-मकान आदि का लाभ, विवाहादि उत्सव, पुत्रों की उन्नति, सेनापतित्व, इष्टमित्रों से समागम होती है ।
