O Brahmin! Some sages have made a mention of Kāla Daśā and Cakra Daśā; but they have recognised the Kālacakra Daśā as supreme. The other kinds of Daśās propagated by the learneds are Cara Daśā, Sthira Daśā, Kendra Daśā, Kāraka Daśā, Brahmagraha Daśā, Maṇḍūka Daśā, Śūla Daśā, Yogārdha Daśā, Dṛg Daśā, Trikoṇa Daśā, Rāśi Daśā, Pañcasvara Daśā, Yoginī Daśā, Piṇḍa Daśā, Naisargika Daśā, Aṣṭakavarga Daśā, Sandhyā Daśā, Pācaka Daśā, Tārā Daśā etc. But in our view all these Daśās are not appropriate (for the purpose for which they are meant).
