The figure so arrived at should be converted into years, months etc. and the appropriate Daśā method applied per the related illustration tables.

रात्रि में जन्म हो तो लग्न-राशि से शुरू करके, दिन में जन्म हो तो लग्नेश की राशि से शुरू करके, और सन्ध्या-समय जन्म हो तो द्वितीय भावगत राशि से प्रारम्भ कर क्रमशः सब राशियों की दशा होती है।
