ṢOḌAŚOTTARĪ DAŚĀ: This Daśā system will be appropriate for one whose Ascendant is in the Navāṁśa of Venus. Count from Janma Nakshatra to Revatī. Divide this number by 8. The remainder will indicate the Daśā of the planet concerned. The Daśā order is the Sun, Jupiter, Ketu, Mercury, Rāhu, Mars, Saturn, Moon (Venus does not find a place in this Daśā system). The Daśās will be of 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 years of the planets in the order mentioned above, totaling 116 years.
