PIṆḌA-AṀŚA-NAISARGIKA DAŚĀ: The Piṇḍa Daśā, Aṁśa Daśā and Naisargika Daśā will be the same as Piṇḍāyu, Aṁśāyu and Naisargikāyu, the method of determination of which has already been explained previously. The order of Daśās will be as follows — the first Daśā will be of the Lagna (Ascendant), the Sun or the Moon whoever is stronger. The subsequent Daśās will be of planets in Kendra to them, then of planets in Panaphara houses and lastly of planets in Āpoklima houses. The Daśās and Antardaśās of the Lagna and seven planets will also be in the same order. (Rāhu and Ketu do not find place in this Daśā system.)

पिण्डायु, अंशायु और नैसर्गिकायु जिन ग्रहों की जो आयु कही गई है, उसी के अनुसार उनकी पैण्डी, आंशी और नैसर्गिक दशा होती है। लग्न, सूर्य और चन्द्रमा में जो बलवान् हो, उसकी प्रथम दशा होती है, फिर उससे केन्द्रादि में स्थित ग्रहों की बलक्रम से। इनका फल अष्टकवर्ग के बल से विचार करना चाहिए। ये अष्टवर्ग दशाएँ पूर्व सूरियों ने कही हैं।
