LAGNĀDI RĀŚI DAŚĀ: In this system there are Daśās of all the 12 signs including the Ascendant in every nakshatra. Consequently the Bhayāt at birth may be multiplied by 12 and then the product be divided by Bhabhog. The rāśi, degree etc. so available may be added to the longitude of the Lagna (Ascendant). From the rāśi becoming available by doing so will start the Daśās of the 12 signs (if that rāśi be odd, the counting will be onwards; it will be in the reverse order if the rāśi be even).

राशि-दशा: लग्नादि राशियों की दशा राशि-दशा है। भयात को रवि (12) से गुणाकर भभोग से भाग देने से लब्धि राशि-दशा का भुक्त होता है। उस लब्धि को जन्म-लग्न में जोड़कर 12 का शेष लेने पर जो राशि आए वहाँ से विषम में क्रम और सम में उत्क्रम से दशा का आरम्भ होता है। दशा के वर्ष भुक्त-भाग को 30 से भाग देकर साधित होते हैं।
