पापक्षेत्रदशाकाले देहजीवौ तु दुःखितौ ।
शुभक्षेत्रदशाकाले शुभं भवति निश्चितम्

In the Daśā of the signs owned by malefics the body and soul will be in distress. The effects will be favourable in the Daśā of the signs owned by benefics. If a malefic sign is occupied by a benefic planet or if a benefic sign is occupied by a malefic planet, the effects will be of a mixed nature.

देह-जीव में बुध, गुरु या शुक्र जाएं तो सभी सुख-सम्पत्ति प्रदान करने वाले और रोग-शोक का नाश करने वाले होते हैं। मिश्र-राशि में संयुक्त हो तो मिश्र फल प्राप्त होता है। पापक्षेत्र दशाकाल में देह-जीव दुःखित और शुभक्षेत्र दशाकाल में शुभ फल निश्चित होता है। शुभ-युक्त अशुभ-क्षेत्र की दशा और क्रूर-युक्त शुभ-क्षेत्र की दशा दोनों मिश्र-फल देने वाली होती हैं।
