BIRTH-AND-DAŚĀ-ONSET COMPARISON: The assessment of the effects of the Daśā of the Daśā rāśi should be made after taking into account the disposition of the planets in the rāśi at birth and the disposition of planets during the Daśā. If the Daśā rāśi be well disposed both at the time of birth and during its Daśā, the beneficial results will be realised in full. If it be ill disposed during the Daśā, the effects will be of mixed nature. If the Daśā rāśi be ill disposed both at the time of birth and during its Daśā, only evil effects will be experienced.
