If Venus be in the 2nd in his sign of exaltation or in his own sign or be associated there with the lord of the 11th, there will be acquisition of an underground hidden treasure, gain of land, enjoyment, birth of a son etc. Advancement of good fortune, fulfilment of ambitions with the beneficence of the king (government), devotion to deities and Brahmins, gain of jewels like pearls etc., will result if Venus be in conjunction with the lord of the 9th or 11th.

(i) यदि शुक्र नीचगत या अस्तंगत या पापयुक्त या पापदृष्ट हो तो भूमिनाश, पुत्रमित्रादि की हानि, स्त्रीहानि, चौपाए धन की हानि, राजद्वार (कचहरी, थाना) आदि में विरोध होता है । (ii) यदि शुक्र द्वितीय स्थान में या स्वोच्चगत या स्वक्षत्री हो तो धनलाभ, सुख, पुत्रप्राप्ति, भूमि का लाभ होता है । (iii) यदि शुक्र 9, 11 भावेश से युक्त हो तो भाग्य वृद्धिकारक होता है । बड़े लोगों की सहायता या प्रसन्नता से इष्टसिद्धि, देवब्राह्मणों की भक्ति, मुक्ता मोती मणि आदि का लाभ होता है ।
