If, at the time of the birth of any living creature or of a query regarding it, the malefic planets are found to be strong and the benefic ones weak, and if a neutral planet (Saturn or Mercury) be in kendra position or aspect the rising sign, the astrologer may declare the birth of a living being similar in form to that indicated by the Moon's Dwadasamsa, provided this Dwadasamsa belongs to what is called a Viyoni sign (Mesha, Vrishabha, Kataka, Simha, Vrischika, first half of Dhanus, Makara, or Meena).

यदि किसी प्राणी के जन्म के समय या उससे सम्बन्धित प्रश्न के समय पापी ग्रह बलवान हों और शुभ ग्रह निर्बल हों, तथा कोई तटस्थ ग्रह (शनि या बुध) केन्द्र में हो या लग्न पर दृष्टि डाले — तो ज्योतिषी चन्द्र के द्वादशांश से संकेतित रूप के समान प्राणी का जन्म घोषित कर सकता है, बशर्ते यह द्वादशांश किसी वियोनि राशि (मेष, वृष, कर्क, सिंह, वृश्चिक, धनु का पूर्वार्ध, मकर या मीन) का हो।
