If all the four planets, viz., Mars, Saturn, the Sun and Jupiter be in their exaltation, one of them being associated with the Lagna; or, if three of the aforesaid planets be in their exaltation and one of them happens to be in the Lagna — 16 cases of Rajayogas arise. If the Moon be in his own house (Kataka) and if two of the aforementioned planets be in their exaltation, one of them being in the Lagna at the same time; or, if one at least of the four planets be in its exaltation sign identical with the Lagna — a second set of 16 Rajayogas is caused.

यदि चारों ग्रह — मंगल, शनि, सूर्य और गुरु — अपनी उच्च राशियों में हों, उनमें से एक लग्न से सम्बद्ध हो; अथवा यदि उपर्युक्त तीन ग्रह उच्च में हों और उनमें से एक लग्न में हो — तो 16 प्रकार के राजयोग उत्पन्न होते हैं। यदि चन्द्र अपने स्वगृह (कर्क) में हो और उपर्युक्त ग्रहों में से दो उच्च में हों, उनमें से एक उस समय लग्न में हो; अथवा यदि चारों ग्रहों में से कम-से-कम एक अपनी उच्च राशि में लग्न के समान हो — दूसरा 16 राजयोगों का समुच्चय बनता है।
