If, at the time of conception, the rising Navamsa belongs to Saturn, and that planet occupy the 7th house, the child will take three years to be born. If the conception takes place when the Moon is under similar circumstances, i.e., when the rising Navamsa belongs to Kataka and the Moon occupies the 7th house, the birth will happen after twelve years. The effects that have been described in this Chapter as due to planetary conjunctions at the time of conception must also be predicted in regard to the time of the birth when the same planetary conjunctions are found to exist.

यदि आधान के समय उदय हो रहा नवांश शनि का हो और शनि सप्तम भाव में हो, तो शिशु का जन्म तीन वर्ष बाद होगा। यदि आधान के समय उदय हो रहा नवांश कर्क का हो और चन्द्र सप्तम भाव में हो, तो जन्म बारह वर्ष बाद होगा। इस अध्याय में आधान के समय के ग्रह-संयोगों से जो फल बताए गए हैं, वे ही जन्म के समय वही ग्रह-संयोग मिलने पर भी कहे जाने चाहिए।
