If, at the birth of any person, the Sun be in conjunction with the Moon, he will be skilled in machinery and stone work; if the Sun be in conjunction with Mars, the person born will be intent on doing sinful deeds; if he be associated with Mercury, the person will be clever, intelligent, famous and happy. If the Sun be in conjunction with Jupiter, the person born in the yoga will be cruel and interested in other people's work. If the Sun and Venus be together at a birth, the person concerned will earn money by acting or by the use of weapons. If the Sun be associated with Saturn, the person born will be clever in working in metals or in various sorts of mechanism.

यदि किसी व्यक्ति के जन्म पर सूर्य चन्द्र की युति में हो, तो वह यन्त्र-कार्य और पाषाण-कार्य में निपुण होगा; यदि सूर्य मंगल की युति में हो, तो जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति पाप-कर्म करने में संलग्न होगा; यदि वह बुध से सम्बद्ध हो, तो व्यक्ति चतुर, बुद्धिमान, यशस्वी और सुखी होगा। यदि सूर्य गुरु की युति में हो, तो योग में जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति क्रूर होगा और अन्य लोगों के कार्यों में रुचि लेगा। यदि सूर्य और शुक्र जन्म पर एक साथ हों, तो सम्बन्धित व्यक्ति अभिनय करके अथवा शस्त्रों के प्रयोग से धन अर्जित करेगा। यदि सूर्य शनि से सम्बद्ध हो, तो जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति धातु-कार्य अथवा विविध प्रकार के यन्त्र-कार्य में चतुर होगा।
