With the benefic planets occupying the 6th, 7th and 8th houses from the Moon, there results what is called the Moon's Adhiyoga, wherein takes place the birth of a commander (Police Superintendent or head), a minister or a ruler (of a District or Province). Those that are born in the Moon's Adhiyoga are at the height of prosperity and pleasure, overcome their foes and live a long life, being exempt from diseases and dangers.

चन्द्र से 6ठे, 7वें और 8वें भावों में शुभ ग्रहों के अधिष्ठान से जो योग बनता है, उसे चन्द्र का अधियोग कहते हैं, जिसमें सेनापति (पुलिस अधीक्षक या प्रमुख), मन्त्री अथवा शासक (जिले या प्रान्त के) का जन्म होता है। चन्द्र के अधियोग में जन्म लेने वाले समृद्धि और सुख के शिखर पर होते हैं, अपने शत्रुओं को परास्त करते हैं, और रोग-संकटों से मुक्त दीर्घायु जीते हैं।
