According as the Moon occupies an angular (Kendra), a succedent (Panaphara) or a cadent (Apoklima) house in respect to the Sun, will the moral training, the wealth, the knowledge and the intellectual precision of the person born be the lowest, middling or highest. If the Moon be in its own Navamsa or in that of a very friendly planet and if it be aspected by Jupiter, the person born will be wealthy; if it be aspected by Venus, he will be happy — in both cases without regard to when the birth takes place — which may be by day as well as by night.

सूर्य के संदर्भ में चन्द्र की केन्द्र, पणफर या आपोक्लिम भाव में स्थिति के अनुसार जातक की नैतिक शिक्षा, धन, ज्ञान और बौद्धिक प्रखरता क्रमशः न्यूनतम, मध्यम अथवा उच्चतम होगी। यदि चन्द्र अपने नवांश में अथवा किसी अति-मित्र ग्रह के नवांश में हो और यदि गुरु से दृष्ट हो, तो जातक धनवान होगा; यदि शुक्र से दृष्ट हो, तो वह सुखी होगा — दोनों स्थितियों में जन्म-समय के विचार के बिना — जो दिन या रात कभी भी हो सकता है।
