तमसावृते 'समन्ताज्जलभूते भूतले ततोऽकस्मात् ।
उदितो भगवान् भानुः प्रकाशयन् स्वप्रकाशेन

At the time of Pralaya (Destruction) the Universe plunged into darkness and was flooded with water, when all of a sudden the Sun-God with his brilliant rays appeared in the Universe. He created all the planets and the 12 months.

प्रलय काल में जब सम्पूर्ण संसार अन्धकार से व्याप्त था और जल ही जल इस पृथ्वी पर था, उस समय अचानक अपने प्रकाश से समस्त संसार को प्रकाशित करते हुए भगवान् सूर्य का उदय हुआ ॥
