Description and Nature of Jupiter. The eyes of Jupiter are somewhat reddish-brown. He is learned in Vedas. His voice resembles that of a lion. He is firm and prominently Sattvik. His physical complexion is akin to pure yellow metal. He has broad and prominent chest. He is always fond of virtues and is modest. He has firm and large eyes and is of forgiving disposition. He wears yellow apparels, is phlegmatic, fat and pre-eminent.

थोड़े पीत नेत्र व कर्ण, सिंह के समान गम्भीर शब्द, स्थिर, सतोगुणी (सत्वगुण से युक्त), तपे हुए सोने के समान शरीर वर्ण, मोटी व ऊँची छाती, लघु, धर्म में तत्पर, नम्रता में चतुर, स्थिर उत्कृष्ट दृष्टि, क्षमावान्‌, पीला वस्त्र, कफ प्रकृति, चर्वी में बल- चाला गुरु हे ॥२५।।
