LUMINARIES IN MAHAPURUSHA YOGAS. Though Mars etc. may be strong in the respective cases of Pancha Mahapurusha Yogas (vide Sloka 2 of this Ch.), if the Sun and the Moon are weak, the person will not attain kinghood, but in the period of the concerned planet will be endowed with children and wealth.

पञ्च-महापुरुष योगों में सूर्य एवं चन्द्र। यद्यपि पञ्च महापुरुष योगों के सन्दर्भ में मंगल आदि ग्रह बलवान् हों (इस अध्याय का श्लोक 2 देखें), यदि सूर्य एवं चन्द्र निर्बल हों, तो जातक राज्य प्राप्त नहीं कर सकता; तथापि उस सम्बन्धित ग्रह की दशा में वह सन्तान एवं धन से सम्पन्न होता है।
