DECANATES IN VIRGO. Should the death decanate be the first decanate in Virgo, ones life will end due to diseases of the head, or by wind, (gale, hurricane, or outburst of violent wind etc.,) The middle decanate in Virgo will cause death by snake-bites, or in hills, forts, forests etc., or by the son of a king. The concluding decanate in Virgo will bring death by camels, asses, weapons, water, deep pits, females and unhealthy eating and drinking.

कन्या राशि में द्रेष्काण। यदि मृत्यु-द्रेष्काण कन्या के प्रथम द्रेष्काण में हो, तो मस्तक-रोग से अथवा वायु (आँधी, चक्रवात, उग्र वायु-प्रकोप आदि) से जातक के प्राण जाते हैं। कन्या का मध्य द्रेष्काण सर्प-दंश से, अथवा पर्वत-दुर्ग-वन में, अथवा राजपुत्र के हाथों से मृत्यु का कारक है। कन्या का अन्त्य द्रेष्काण ऊँट, गधा, शस्त्र, जल, गहरे गड्ढों, स्त्रियों एवं अहितकर भोजन-पान से मृत्यु लाता है।
