The duration of the state of loss of consciousness (or insensibility, delusion, pain etc.) will correspond to the portion elapsed in the radical Ascendant. The duration will remain doubled and trebled according to the Ascendant Lord, or a benefic aspecting the Ascendant.

अचेतनावस्था (मूर्च्छा, मोह, पीड़ा आदि) की अवधि — जन्म-लग्न में व्यतीत भाग के अनुसार होती है। लग्नेश अथवा लग्न पर शुभ-दृष्टि होने से यह अवधि दुगुनी अथवा तिगुनी हो जाती है।
