If the Moon is hemmed between two malefics, be in the Ascendant, 7th, or 8th and be in aspect to weak benefics, (infant) death follows. Should malefics be in 7th and 8h and be aspected by malefics, the child dies along with its mother. If there be aspect from benefics in such a case, the mother becomes sick (there will not be immediate death).

यदि चन्द्रमा दो पापग्रहों के मध्य में हो और लग्न, सप्तम या अष्टम भाव में स्थित हो, तथा निर्बल शुभ ग्रहों से दृष्ट हो, तो शिशु की मृत्यु होती है। यदि सप्तम और अष्टम भावों में पापग्रह हों और वे भी पाप-दृष्ट हों, तो शिशु अपनी माता सहित मरता है। यदि ऐसी स्थिति में शुभ ग्रहों की दृष्टि हो, तो माता रोग-ग्रस्त रहती है (तत्काल मृत्यु नहीं होती)।
