If the planet is exalted, or is endowed with temporal strength, or full strength, in its Dasa incomparably auspicious results will come to pass. The planet, that is in its own Sign, Moolatrikona Sign, own Navansa, or hemmed between benefics will yield moderately auspicious effects. The planet, that is going towards its exaltation (departing from Sign of its fall), or is placed in friendly Signs etc., feebly auspicious effects will be felt. Similar deductions should be made in regard to planets otherwise placed.

३उत्तमशुभफलदासो' प्रहस्य स्वराशौ स्वत्रिकोणे च स्वांशे च आ \ जौ स्वोच्चाभिलाषिणश्चैव मित्रराश्यादिसं ॥२ शुभाधमदशा ज्ञेया ब्रिपरीतमतस्थिते । अनेनैव विधातेन विज्ेया पापदा दशा। ।२४॥ जो ग्रह उच्चराशि में काल बल त्त युक्त हो वा सम्पूर्ण बल से सम्पन्न हो उस ग्रह की नैसगिक दशा नित्य शुभ फल प्रदान करती है ! तनजाम टॅ । जो ग्रह अपनी राशि में हो वा अपनी मूलत्रिकोण राशि में वा अपने नवांश में स्थित हो उस ग्रह की नेसगिक दशा मध्यममान से शुभ फल प्रदान करती हे । जो ग्रह उच्चराशि में जाने वाला हो अथवा मित्र की राशि में हो तो उस ग्रह की दशा अल्प शुभ फल देती है । इससे विपरीत स्थानों में अर्थात्‌ नीच, शत्रु आदि स्थानों में ग्रह हो तो इसी प्रकार अधिक, मध्यम अल्प पाप फल देने वाली ग्रहों की दशा होती है
