AGAIN MOONS PLACEMENT. If the Moon at the commencement of a major period occupy a friendly Sign, exaltation Sign, or an Upachaya House (3rd, 6th, 10th, or 11th House), 5h, 9th, or 7th counted from the major Lord, good effects will come to pass in the Dasa in question. If the Moon is otherwise placed, even a planet in exaltation at birth will give inauspicious results in its Dasa.

यदि दशारम्भ काल में दशापति से चन्द्रमा दशापति की मित्र राशि में हो वा उसकी डच्चराशि में हो वा दशापति से उपचय (३, ६, १०, ११) स्थान में हो अथवा दशा- पति से पञ्चम, नवम, सप्तम राशि में चन्द्रमा हो तो दशा का फल शुभ होता है । यदि इनसे विपरीत स्थानों में चन्द्रमा हो तो उच्चस्थित ग्रह की भी दशा अशुभ फल प्रदात करती है
