If at the time of commencement of a Dasa, even, if one planet occupies the divisions of a benefic, or of an intimate friend and is aspected by a benefic, the evils due to come out of the said Dasa will disappear. If the Lord of the Dasa is not strong enough to cause evil, while the planet functioning, as an antidote (as stated in the previous Sloka) is stronger, the evils are then surely destroyed. Even, if a single planet occupies its exaltation Sign, Moolatrikona Sign, or own Sign and is aspected by a benefic, or is conjunct a benefic, at the start of a Dasa the evils of the Dasa are nullified.

यदि दशा में प्रवेश के समय एक भी बलवान्‌ ग्रह, शुभग्रह व अधिभित्र के वर्ग में शुभग्रह से दृष्ट हो तो मृत्यु (मरण) नहीं होती है । दक्षा रिष्टप्रद ग्रह यदि निर्बल हो तथा अरिष्टभङ्ग ग्रह बली हो तो निश्चय अरिष्ट का नाश होता है । यदि दशा प्रवेश समय में स्वोच्च, मूल त्रिकोणादि में स्थित तथा युद्ध में विजयी ग्रह हो तो उसकी दशा में कष्ट नहीं होता अर्थात्‌ अरिष्ट दूर हो जाता है
