If a planet (whether natural benefic, or natural malefic) aspects the Ascendant identical with its own Sign, that confers happiness and wealth, apart from close relationship with the king. If the Ascendant is not owned by the aspecting planet, a benefic then confers auspicious effects and a malefic evil results.
