SONS AND DAUGHTERS. When the 5th House has exclusively the divisions of the Moon and Venus and be with aspects of Venus and the Moon alone, or be occupied by these two alone, or, when the said House has the divisions of only even Signs, the native will beget only female children. In a contrary situation, (i.e. 3h House falling in divisions of odd Signs only and be excluded from the occupation, or aspect of Venus and the Moon but others), there will be birth of only male children.

यदि कुण्डली में पञ्चम भाव में शुक्र-चन्द्रमा का षड्वगं हो तथा शुक्र या चन्द्र से दृष्ट या युत पंचम भाव हो तो जातक को कन्या सन्तति ही प्रायः होती है । या सम राशि का वर्ग पंचम में हो तथा शुक्र चन्द्रमा से दृष्ट युत होने पर भी प्रायः कन्या सन्तान होती है । इसके विपरीत अर्थात्‌ विषम राशि का वर्ग पंचम में हो ब शुक्र चन्द्रमा से अदृष्ट एवं अयुक्त हो तो पुत्रों की प्राप्ति होती हैं
