Through the Dasas enunciated by Sripati, through Ashtakavarga, through Kalachakra Dasa and through the Ududasa system, a wise man ought to predict the Ayus of the native by the application of suitable rules after a correct calculation of the several planetary positions, careful working, and a minute scrutiny. Thus ends the 12th Adhyaya on 'the Length of Life' in the work Phaladeepika composed by Mantreswara.

जन्म-कुण्डली में आचार्यों के आदेशानुसार ग्रह-स्पष्ट, दशा आदि का गणित कर श्रीपति ने जो दशाएँ बतायी हैं वे तथा अष्टकवर्ग, कालचक्र दशा आदि का पूरा विचार कर आयु का निर्णय करना चाहिये।
