There will be diseases, quarrels, separation from the son or father, distress to kinsmen, disputes with co-parceners, danger of death to self or employer, unhappiness to wife and children, pain in the stomach etc., if Venus be in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th from the Ascendant, be in his sign of debilitation or an enemy's sign, or be associated with Saturn, Mars or Rahu.

कलत्रपुत्रपीडा च शूलरोगादिसम्भवः । यदि शुक्र 6, 8, 12 में या नीच राशि मे या शत्रुराशि में हो या शनि, मंगल, राहु सं युक्त हो तो इसकी अन्तर्दशा मे रोगभय, अचानक कलह, पिता या पुत्र का वियोग, स्वजनों की हानि, सर्वत्र अपने लोगों को कष्ट, भाई-बन्धुओं (सम्पत्ति के हिस्सेदारों) से कलह, अपनी या अपने स्वामी की मृत्यु, स्त्रीपुत्रादि को पीडा, शूलरोग (शिरःशूल, हृदयशूल, उदरशूल आदि) अर्थात्‌ तीव्र दर्द से प्रारम्भ होकर घातकता तक जाने वाला कोई रोग होता है ।
