Effects like danger from thieves, and snakes, distress from wounds, separation from parents, antagonistic relations with kinsmen, mental agony etc., will be derived if Ketu be without strength in the 8th or the 12th from the Ascendant. If Ketu be lord of the 2nd or the 7th, there will be distress to the body. The remedial measure to obtain relief from the above evil effects is giving a goat in charity.

यदि केतु अष्टम स्थान में, द्वादश मँ हो या बलहीन हो तो इसकी अन्तर्दशा मं अनेक रोग, चोरभय, सर्पभय, चोटभय, माता पिता से वियोग, भाइयों से द्वेष, मनोविकार होते हैं । यदि केतु का सम्बन्ध किसी भी प्रकार से 2, 7 भाव से हो तो शरीर कष्ट होता है । इस दोष की निवृत्ति के लिए बकरे आदि का दान करना चाहिए ।
