There will be opprobrium of deities and Brahmins by the native, loss of fortune, speaking lies, unwise actions, fear from snakes, thieves and the government, quarrels, distress to wife and children, etc., if Mercury be in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th, or be aspected by Saturn.

यदि बुध 6, 8, 12 मे हो या शनि से युक्त दृष्ट हो या दशेश से 6, 8, 12 में हो, पापयुक्त हो तो देव ब्राह्मणों की निन्दा, भाग्यहीनता, सुख मे कमी, सत्यरहित व्यवहार, दुर्बुदिध का उदय, चोरभय, सर्पभय, राजभय, अकस्मात् कलह के अवसर, स्त्री पुत्रादि को पीड़ा के योग होते हैं ।
