PADA AND FINANCE (upto śloka 15): O Brahmin, I now tell you of some effects of planets based on Pada. If the 11th from Lagna-Pada is occupied or aspected by a planet the native will be happy and rich; wealth will come through virtuous means if a benefic is related as above. A malefic will confer wealth through questionable means. If there be both a benefic and a malefic, it will be through both means. If the planet in question (i.e. the one so related to 11th from Lagna-Pada) be in exaltation or in own sign etc., there will be plenty of gains and plenty of happiness.

पद-कुण्डली से फलादेश-प्रारम्भ: पद अर्थात्‌ लग्न पद से ग्यारहवें भाव में कोई भी ग्रह हो या उसे कोई भी ग्रह देखे तो मनुष्य धनवान्‌ व सुखी होता है। यदि वहाँ शुभ ग्रह हों तो न्यायमार्ग, सन्मार्ग से धनागम होता है। पाप ग्रह रहने से अन्याय, बेईमानी या कठोरतापूर्वक धनागम होता है। मिश्रित ग्रह रहने पर मिलाजुला फल समझना चाहिए। यदि एकादश में स्थित ग्रह शुभ हो या पाप लेकिन स्वोच्च या स्वक्षेत्र में हो तो अनेक प्रकार से अनेक तरह का धन व सुख मिलता है।
