ARIES-NAVĀṀŚA EFFECTS: In the Kālacakra Daśā of Aries in Aries Navāṁśa, there will be distress due to troubles caused by the pollution of blood. In the Daśā of Aries in the Navāṁśa of Taurus, there will be increase in wealth and agricultural product. In the Navāṁśa of Gemini, there will be advancement of knowledge. In the Navāṁśa of Cancer there will be acquisition of wealth; in the Leo Navāṁśa danger from enemies; in the Virgo Navāṁśa distress to wife; in the Libra Navāṁśa kingship; in Scorpio Navāṁśa death; and in the Sagittarius Navāṁśa acquisition of wealth. Such will be the effects of the 9 pādas of Aries. In assessing the net effects, the nature of planet occupying the rāśi should also be taken into account.

सूर्य्षं शत्रुबाधा च कन्यायां दारनाशनम् । तौलिके राजमन्त्रित्वं वृश्चिके मरणं भवेत् । अर्थलाभो भवेच्वापे मेषस्य नवभागके । प्रत्येक काल चक्र दशा में 9-9 राशियों की दशा पीछे करी है । तदनुसार महादशा मं अन्य राशियों की नवांश दशा (9 राशियों की पृथक् अन्तर्दशा या उपदशा) का फल कहते हैँ । मेष राशि मेँ मेषांश दशा मेँ रक्त पीड़ा, वृषांश मे धान्य वृदिध, मिथुनांश में ज्ञानवृदिध, कर्कांश में धनाढ्यता, सिंहांश मे शत्रु बाधा, कन्यांश मे स्त्री कष्ट, तुलांश मेँ राजमन्त्रीपद, वृश्चिकांश मे मृत्यु होती है । धनुरांश मे धन लाभ होता है ।
