CANCER-NAVĀṀŚA EFFECTS: In Cancer, in the Daśā of Cancer Aṁśa there will be distress; in the Daśā of Leo Aṁśa — displeasure of the Sovereign; in the Daśā of Virgo Aṁśa — reverence from kinsmen; in the Daśā of Libra Aṁśa — beneficence; in the Daśā of Scorpio Aṁśa — creation of obstacles by father; in the Daśā of Sagittarius Aṁśa — increase of learning and wealth; in the Daśā of Capricorn Aṁśa — danger from water; in the Daśā of Aquarius Aṁśa — increase in the production of agricultural products; and in the Daśā of the Pisces Aṁśa — acquisition of more wealth and enjoyment.

मीने च सुखसम्पत्तिः कर्कटस्य नवांशके । (क) कर्कांश मं कर्क दशा हो तो संकट का सामना करना पड़ता है । (ख) सिंहांश में राजकोप होता है अर्थात् सरकारी विभाग या सीधे सरकार से भय होगा । (ग) कन्यादशा मं भाइयों द्वारा विशेष सम्मान प्राप्त होता हे । (घ) तुला दशा मं मनुष्य मनोनुकूल व लोकप्रिय कार्यों का साधन करता हे । (ङ) वृश्चिक दशा में पिता को कष्ट, आर्थिक या शारीरिक या सामाजिक कष्ट समझना । (च) धनुदशा मे ज्ञान वृदिध व धन वृदिध अर्थात् विद्या या अनुभव या कार्यकुशलता तथा रुपया बढ़े । (छ) मकरदशा मे पानी से भय अर्थात् जलज रोग, बाढ़ आदि, कुम्भ मं धान्य वृदिध, मीन मेँ सुख सम्पत्ति होती है ।
