Loss of wealth and house, eye trouble and other inauspicious effects will be the results, if Mars be in the 8th or the 12th from the lord of the Dasa (Jupiter) or be in his sign of debilitation associated with or aspected by malefics. The effects will be particularly adverse at the commencement of the Antardasa. There will be some mitigation of evil effects later. There will be physical distress and mental agony if Mars be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th. Remedial measure to obtain relief from the above evil effects and get gains of wealth and property, is to give a bull in charity.

दायेशाद्‌ रन्प्रभावे वा व्यये वा नीचगेऽपि वा.। पापयुक्तेक्षिते वापि धान्यार्थगृहनाशनम्‌ ।।68।। नानारोगभयं दुःखं नेत्ररोगादि सम्भवः । पूवर्धिं कष्टमधिकमपरार्धे महत्सुखम्‌ ।।69।। दितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहजाडयं मनोरुजः । वृषभस्य प्रदानं तु सर्वसम्पत्प्रदायकम्‌ ।।70।। यदि दशापति से मगल 8.12 माव मे, या नीचगत या पापदृष्टयुत हो तो धन, धान्य व मवनादि का नाश, अनेक रोग, भय, दुःख तथा नेत्र कष्ट होता हे । अन्तर्दशा कं पूर्वार्धं मे बहुत दुःख तथा उत्तरार्धं मेँ सुख होता है । यदि मंगल 2.7 भावेश हो तो मनोविकार शरीर में शिथिलता होती है| शान्ति के लिए सोड या बडे का दान करना चाहिए ।
