There will be physical distress if Ketu be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th (or in the 2nd or the 7th). The remedial measure to obtain relief from the above evil effects, is performance of Mrityunjaya Japa in the prescribed manner.

दितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति ।।37।। छागदानं प्रकुर्वीत मृत्युंजयजपं चरेत् । सर्वदोषोपशमनी शान्तिं कुर्याद यथाविधि ।।38।। यदि केतु 2.7 भावेश या इन मारकेशों के साथ स्थित हो तो शरीर कष्ट होता है । शान्ति के लिए मेषदान, मृत्युंजय का जप, यथाविधि कराना चाहिए ।
