MARS MAHĀDAŚĀ — FAVOURABLE: Should Mars be in his sign of exaltation, in his Mūlatrikoṇa, in his own sign, in kendra, in the 11th or the 2nd with strength, be in a benefic Aṁśa (Navāṁśa) and be associated with a benefic, there will be during his Daśā acquisition of kingdom (attainment of a high administrative or political position in Government, gain of wealth and land, recognition by Government), gain of wealth from foreign countries and acquisition of conveyances and ornaments. There will also be happiness and good relations with co-borns. If Mars with strength be in a kendra or the 3rd house, there will be gain of wealth through valour, victory over enemies, happiness from wife and children. There will, however, be possibility of some unfavourable effects at the end of the Daśā.

यदि मंगल स्वराशि, स्वोच्च या मूलत्रिकोण हो तथा केन्द्र, त्रिकोण, लाभ या धन स्थान में गया हो या परमोच्च हो एवं मंगल बलवान् हो, शुभदृष्ट हो तो राज्यलाभ, भूमिलाभ, धन-धान्य का लाभ, राजा से विशेष सम्मान, वाहनों व वस्त्राभूषणों की प्राप्ति, विदेश में मान-वृद्धि, भायाँ का सुख होता है । यदि बलवान् मंगल 1.3.4.7.10 में हो तो अपने परिश्रम से धन लाभ, युद्ध में कभी कष्ट भी हो जाता है ।
