Effects like reverence from the king (government), good reputation, gain of wealth, visits to sacred shrines, performance of religious sacrifices and oblations, recognition, gain of clothes etc., are derived in the Antardasa of Rahu in the Dasa of Mercury if Rahu be in kendra or trikona from the Ascendant or be in Aries, Aquarius, Virgo, or Taurus. There will be some evil effects at the commencement of the Antardasa but all will be well later.

राहु अन्तर्दशा फल :- बुधस्यान्तग्ति राहौ केन्द्रलाभत्रिकोणके । कुलीरे कुम्भगे वापि कन्यायां वृषभे तथा ।।47।। राजसम्मानकीरतीं च धनं च प्रभविष्यति । पुण्यतीर्थ स्नान लाभो देवतादर्शनं तथा ।।48।। इष्टापूर्ते च महतो मानश्चाम्बर लाभकृत्‌ । भुक्त्यादौ देहपीडा च त्वन्ते सौख्यं विनिर्दिशेत्‌ ।।49।। बुघ दशा मेँ राहु का अन्तर हो तथा राहु लग्न से 1.4.7.10.5.9.11 महो या 2.4.6.11 राशियों मँ हो तो राज-सम्मान, कीर्ति, धन का लाम, पुण्यतीर्थां मं स्नान, देव दर्शन अर्थात्‌, देवस्थान दर्शन या किसी मन्त्र की सिद्धि, यज्ञ की सम्पन्नता, अधिक सम्मान, वस्त्र का लाम होता है । अन्तर्दशा क आरम्भ मे शरीर कष्ट तथा अन्त मे सुख होता है ।
