There will be physical distress if the Moon be the lord of the 2nd or the 7th (from the Ascendant). There will be relief, prolongation of longevity and restoration of comforts by the beneficence of Goddess Durga if the mantras of the Goddess are recited in the prescribed manner and clothes are given in charity.

द्वितीयद्यूननाथे तु देहबाधा भविष्यति । तद्दोषपरिहारार्थ दुगदिवीजपं चरेत् ।।34।। वस्त्रदानं प्रकुर्वीत सुखायुर्वृदिधकृत् पुमान् । ततः सौख्यं भवेत्तस्य जगदम्बाप्रसादतः ।।35।। यदि चन्द्रमा 2.7 भावेश हो तो शरीर कष्ट होता है । इस दोष को शान्त करने कं लिए दुगपराठ कराने चाहिए तथा वस्त्र दान करें । इससे सुख, आयु आदि की वृदिध जगदम्बा की कृपा से होती दै ।
