Gain of jewels like pearls etc., learning, increase in happiness and performance of pious deeds, success in the educational sphere, acquisition of name and fame, meeting with new kings (high dignitaries), gain of wealth, happiness from wife, children and parents will be the effects in the Antardasa of Mercury in his own Dasa, if Mercury be placed in his sign of exaltation or otherwise. There will be loss of wealth and cattle, antagonism with kinsmen, diseases like stomach pains, anxiety in discharging duties as a government official, if Mercury be in his sign of debilitation etc., or be in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th from the Ascendant or be associated with malefics.

(ठः) । । अथ बुघान्तदशाफलाध्यायः । । बुध दशा मे बुधान्तर्दशा फल :- मुक्ताविद्धुमलाभश्चज्ञानकर्मसुखादिकम्‌ । विद्या महत्वं कीर्तिश्च नूतनप्रभुदर्शनम्‌ ।।1।। विभवं दारपुत्रादि पित्॒मात्॒सुखावहम्‌ । स्वोच्वादिस्थेऽय नीचस्थे षष्ठाष्टव्ययराशिगे ।।2।। पापयुक्तेञथवा दुष्टे धनधान्यपशुक्षयः । आत्मबन्धुविरोधश्च शूलरोगादि सम्भवः ।।3।। राजकार्यकलापेन व्याकुलो भवति धुवम्‌ । दवितीयद्यूननाथे तु दारक्लेशो भविष्यति ।।4।। आत्मसम्बन्धिमरणं वातशूलादिसम्भवः । तददोषपरिहारार्थ विष्णुसाहस्रकं जपेत्‌ ।।5।। यदि बुध स्वोच्च, स्वक्षेत्र, मूलत्रिकोण, शुमयुक्त, शुमदृष्ट, कन्द्रत्निकोणगत हो तो मुक्ताविद्रुम आदि मणिं व रत्नों की प्राप्ति, ज्ञान वृदिध, कार्य वृदिध, विद्या लाम, महत्त्व वृदिध, नए राजा या अधिकारी से मिलन्‌, वैमव, स्त्री-पुत्रादि की वृदिध, माता-पिता का सुख होता हे । यदि बुध नीच, अस्तंगत, पापयुक्त, अशुम भावगत हो तो धन-धान्य की हानि, अपने लोगों से विरोध, शूल रोग की उत्पत्ति, राजकीय कार्यो मे अति व्यस्त रहने से व्याकुलता होती है । यदि बुध 27भावेश हो तो स्त्री को कष्ट,'अपने निजी जन की हानि, वातशूल रोग की सम्भावना होती हे । इस दोष की शान्ति कं लिए विष्णु सहस्रनाम क पाठ करने चाहिए ।
