(The Chapters contained in the Yatra work relate to): (1) Prasnaprabheda, (2) Tithibalam, (3) Bham (Nakshatrabhidhanam), (4) Divasa or Varaphala, (5) Kshana or Muhurta nirdesa, (6) Chandra or Chandrabala, (7) Vilagna (Lagna nischaya), (8) Lagna bheda — that is the minute divisions of the same such as Hora, Drekkana, Navamsa, etc., (9) the exact positions of the planets with their effects, (10) Apavada, (11) Vimisraka (miscellaneous), (12) Tanuvepanam (tremor in the body), (13) Guhyakapujanam, (14) Swapnam (on dreams), (15) Snana Vidhi (rules of ablution), (16) Graha Yagna, (17) Nirgama (going out — rules to find out the best or auspicious time for starting on a journey), (18) Sakuna (omens), (19) Vivaha Kalam (auspicious time for performing a marriage), and (20) Grahakarana (the method of calculating the accurate positions of the planets). This last, viz., Grahakarana, has been treated of in great detail in my work Panchasiddhantika. Thus an epitome of the Science of Astrology has been prepared by me in three sections, viz., Astronomy, Horoscopy and Samhita, for the benefit of the Students of Astrology.

('यात्रा' ग्रन्थ में निहित अध्याय सम्बन्धित हैं): (1) प्रश्नप्रभेद, (2) तिथिबलम्, (3) भम् (नक्षत्राभिधानम्), (4) दिवस अथवा वारफल, (5) क्षण अथवा मुहूर्त निर्देश, (6) चन्द्र अथवा चन्द्रबल, (7) विलग्न (लग्न निश्चय), (8) लग्न भेद — अर्थात् उसके सूक्ष्म विभाजन जैसे होरा, द्रेक्काण, नवांश आदि, (9) ग्रहों की उनके फलों सहित सटीक स्थितियाँ, (10) अपवाद, (11) विमिश्रक (विविध), (12) तनुवेपनम् (शरीर में कम्पन), (13) गुह्यकपूजनम्, (14) स्वप्नम् (स्वप्नों के विषय में), (15) स्नान विधि (स्नान के नियम), (16) ग्रह यज्ञ, (17) निर्गम (बाहर जाना — यात्रा प्रारम्भ करने के लिए सर्वोत्तम अथवा शुभ समय ज्ञात करने के नियम), (18) शकुन (शकुन), (19) विवाह कालम् (विवाह के लिए शुभ समय), और (20) ग्रहकरण (ग्रहों की सटीक स्थितियों की गणना की पद्धति)। यह अन्तिम, अर्थात् ग्रहकरण, का विस्तृत वर्णन मेरे ग्रन्थ 'पंचसिद्धान्तिका' में किया गया है। इस प्रकार मेरे द्वारा ज्योतिष-छात्रों के लाभ के लिए ज्योतिष-विज्ञान का सार-संग्रह तीन खण्डों — अर्थात् खगोल, होरा और संहिता — में तैयार किया गया है।
